7th Army Joint Multinational Training
Command (7th JMTC)

The Seventh Army Joint Multinational Training Command is USAREUR’s
focal point for training U.S., NATO and international combined and
joint forces in full spectrum, joint operating environments with
world class facilities, systems and trainers. It includes the
Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) and Joint
Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC).
173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team
The 173rd Airborne Brigade was constituted 5 August 5, 1917 as an
infantry brigade and organized August 25, 1917 at Camp Pike,
Arkansas as an element of the 87th Division. Today's Sky Soldiers
proudly represent the airborne fighting spirit with routine training
deployments to Bosnia, Kosovo, Hungary, Tunisia, Morocco, Germany,
Italy, Czech Republic, and more.
Multi-National Task Force East
MTFE conducts peace support operations in its AOR. It maintains a safe and
secure environment. Provides support within capabilities to the UN
Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), and monitors, verifies, and when
necessary, enforces the Statement of Principles for the KPC (Kosovo
Protection Corps) and FRY (Former Republic of Yugoslavia) forces'
compliance with the MTA (Military Technical Agreement) to enable the
establishment of a stable environment. Transitions responsibility to
appropriate civil organizations and eventually to local civilian
leadership enabling KFOR forces to withdraw.
