USAREUR is the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) assigned to the
United States European Command (USEUCOM) and provides continuous
oversight and control of Army operations throughout the EUCOM Area
of Responsibility (AOR).
Subordinate Commands, USAREUR
V Corps
V United States Corps is USAREUR's forward-deployed corps
headquarters. V Corps is the Army's contingency force for European
and Central Command missions. As part of the “Road to Seventh
Army,” the Corps headquarters will merge with the USAREUR staff to
become a deployable, warfighting Army level headquarters.
21st Theater Sustainment Command (21st
TSC)
21st Theater Sustainment Command provides theater sustainment
throughout the European Command and command and control of theater
sustainment functions in support of Seventh Army. On order, the
command deploys to provide expeditionary sustainment support,
including theater opening, distribution, Reception, Staging, Onward
movement and Integration functions for Army, Joint and Coalition
forces while simultaneously providing continuous theater sustainment
support.
