Royal Navy
In February
2010, the Royal Navy temporarily assigned HMS
York (Type 42 DDG) to
patrolling the Falklands because of an Argentine declaration that
all ships sailing in Argentine waters required prior permission.
Since Argentina claims
the Falklands, the order applies to the Falklands. An SSN was said
to have been sent to the area.
