Each Infantry regiment with 1 mechanized company on AIFV, 2 motorized companies on Unimog trucks. In 2008/2010 2 companies on new wheeled APC and one on new light APC like armored Hummer. Mortar and reco platoon are disbanded and perhaps anti-tank platoon also. Most of the men are affected to the third active infantry company of the regiment (formerly reserve).

Each airborne light Infantry regiment with 3 motorized companies on Unimog trucks. In 2008/2010 1 company on new wheeled APC and 2 on new light APC like armored Hummer Mortar and reco platoon are disbanded and perhaps anti-tank platoon also. Most of the men are affected to the third active infantry company of the regiment (formerly reserve). The LAV Pandur are transferred to light cav reco regiment.
