Paraguay Army

v.1.0 April 22, 2001

This outdated information from 1988 is taken from the US Library of Congress Country Studies. Unlike most South American armies, Paraguay does not have a website. The CIA Handbook gives Paraguay a defense budget of $125-million in 1998, amounting to 1.4% of GNP.
