Regiment - Cranborne Barracks, Harare

Regiment - Inkomo Barracks, just North of Harare
• 8th Amphibious Squadron
(Combat Diving Unit) - Nyaminyami Barracks, Kariba
• Special Air
Service - Barit Barracks, adjacent to Harare Airport
• ZNA Armored
Reconnaissance Squadron
• Zimbabwe
Mounted Infantry - Inkomo Barracks, Harare
• Boat Squadron
with five sub-units - Nyaminyami Barracks, Kariba
• A Troop, with
400 men and equipped with a few interceptor craft
• B Troop
maintained assault boats able to ferry troop ashore
• C Troop, with a large
transporter, the Ubique (72 ton LCM craft capable of carrying 30
tons including armored cars.
12.7 and 7.62 mm machine guns for self-protection and
covering fire..
• D Troop, protects
beach-heads, makes assault landings for non-specialized units,
employing mortar and support
weapons.
• E Troop,
guards harbors on Lake Kariba and around the rest of the
squadron as required.
