This division was raised in 2002, before it was known as
the Lagos Garrison Command.

Formed in 1964 as 4th Infantry Division, in 1975 became
Lagos Garrison Organization; in 1981 became 4th
Composite Division; Current designation May 2002.

on the Nigerian Army website, but we have an
identification for it. It is sometimes also referred to
as a composite division. Raised around 2001-02.
