Ethiopian infantry divisions are 5-6000 soldiers.

Ethiopian troops withdrew from Somalia in 2008-09. They had a maximum of about 2 divisions. In mid-2009, the Ethiopians began reconnoitering inside Somalia setting the stage for another possible invasion.
